You can purchase a license for Sente on-line, through Avangate, a well-established on-line retailer used by hundreds of software vendors like Third Street Software.

A single-user license can be used to authorize Sente on up to three computers.

If you purchased Sente after January 1, 2009, you qualify for a free upgrade to Sente 6. Please send your Sente license code (e.g., KX12345-ABCD-EFGH) to our update request address. and we will send you a Sente 6 license code at no charge.

If you own a Sente license code that you purchased prior to January 1, 2009, you can upgrade to Sente 6 for a reduced price. Please note that there is no difference between standard and academic upgrade pricing.

If you own a Sente 5 or 6 Undergraduate Edition license, you can upgrade to a Sente 6 standard academic license for a reduced price. You will receive a new Sente license that removes the library size limitation of the Undergraduate Edition. Your existing libraries will work with this new license and there will no longer be a size limitation.

Customers in the United States can purchase an academic license for Sente from Amazon.com.

If you order Sente through Amazon.com, you will receive Sente on CD-ROM, and the license code will be included in the package. This is the only option that we currently support for obtaining the software on CD-ROM.

The academic pricing listed above is available to any student, faculty or staff member at an accredited academic institution. Institution name and student or employee ID number will be required at checkout. If your institution does not issue ID numbers, please note this in the ID field at checkout.

To purchase Sente, follow these steps:

1. If you have not already done so, download a copy of Sente.

2. Purchase a Sente license from the Avangate store.

3. Receive the email confirmation from Avangate, which will include your Sente License Key. (Please note that upgrades require manual procesing so the License Key will arrive in a separate email message within 48 hours of the original purchase.)

4. Copy the License Key into the registration screen the next time you launch Sente.

After completing these steps, your copy of Sente will be fully-functional and non-expiring. You can repeat the last step above on as many computers as your license permits.
