Free, Basic Sente Account

When you first launch Sente, you are given a free, basic Sente account. This account will let you:

• install and use Sente on up to 6 Macs or iPads,
• create any number of Sente libraries,
• store up to 100 references in each library, and
• sync your libraries, and up to 250MB of attachments, across all your devices.

The free version of Sente is fully functional. You can use targeted browsing, sync, PDF annotation, even bibliography formatting. The only restriction other than library size is that you cannot share a synchronized library with other users (but you can use libraries that others have shared with you).

Premium Sente Account

As your research needs grow, you can upgrade to a premium account.

• $29.95 for students, faculty and staff at accredited academic institutions
• $49.95 for everyone else

With a premium account, you can do everything you can do with a basic account, plus:

• create libraries of any size,
• sync up to 1GB of attachments, and
• share your libraries with any number of other users.

You can upgrade your account directly within Sente for Mac, using the Sente 6 > Upgrade to Premium Account command.

In either case, your account will be upgraded immediately and the changes will take effect the next time you launch the software.
