Standard License

A standard license is available to anyone who does not have an affiliation with an academic institution.

Academic License

If you are affiliated with an accredited academic institution, anywhere in the world, as a student, faculty or staff, you qualify for academic pricing on Sente.

You will be asked for your identification number from your academic institution at checkout. We know that some institutions do not normally issue student or faculty ID numbers. If you do not have such an identification number, please enter "Not Available" in that field at check-out.

Undergraduate Edition

We also sell an Undergraduate Edition of Sente for Mac, which is identical to the full version except that the size of any one library is limited to 250 references. This version is appropriate for students who need to work with many, small libraries rather than one or two large libraries.

If you already own an Undergraduate Edition license, you can purchase an upgrade to a full academic, single user license. You will need your Undergraduate Edition license number to complete the purchase.

Upgrades from Previous Versions

If you own a license for Sente 5 or earlier, you can purchase an upgrade to Sente 6 at a reduced price. You will need your old license number to complete the purchase.

Purchase: Upgrade Single User License ($39.95)

If you have Sente workgroup (10-computer) license for Sente 5 or earlier, you can purchase an upgrade to Sente 6 at a reduced price. You will need your old license number to complete the purchase. Workgroup licenses are only available as upgrades.

Forms of Payment

Avangate will accept many forms of payment, including most major credit cards.

With most forms of payment, your license will be delivered through email within minutes of completing the purchase.

Avangate will also accept purchase orders, although this will require additional processing time, so the delivery of your license will be delayed by up to two days.
